M.S.Orphanage Home is situated near the Oothakadai area of Madurai District. It is an orphanage which takes care of the mentally challenged persons since 1992. Â M.S. Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation trust is promoting the mentally challenged persons and mentally ill persons.
On 11.08.2011 the Dept of HM&CS/MHS students visited to M.S. CHELLAMUTHU ORPHANAGE HOME to provide support hands and services for the persons with mentally disabled adults and children.

The workshop “French cuisine†organized by the Department of HMCS/MHS on 22.08.2011 for Madurai Lady Doak College student’s community. 62 Students participated in the workshop and two staff members from the French Department accompanied them.

Our Management has taken the sincere efforts of bringing Indian Bank to our
Campus for sanctioning Educational loan for MBA and UG Students.
Indian Bank officials visited our campus on 23rd August 2011 (Tuesday) and they
sanctioned loan for 45 MBA Students and 17 UG Students.
Earlier also they visited our campus and sanctioned Educational loan for 47 UG
Students alone.
