New Year Celebrations were held in our Campus on 30.12.2011. The students of SLCS & RLIMS presented various cultural events to the audience such as Singing - Solo and Group, Dance - Solo and Group, Mime,Skit and so on. The function came to a close with National Anthem. All the staff and the students were served tea and snacks. Everyone welcomed the New Year 2012.
The students of SLCS & RLIMS celebrated the Harvest Festival – Pongal on 13.01.2012, in our Campus. They prepared Pongal in14 different pots, with the assistance female faculty of the respective Departments. Students took an active part in cultural activities and in other events such as Pot breaking and Tug of War. The function came to a close with the distribution of Sweet Pongal to every member of the College.
Sports Day The 17th Annual Sports Meet of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science and R.L. Institute of Management Studies, was held on 7th January, 2012 at the campus. Dr. C. Ashok, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, was the Chief Guest. RL Institute of management studies conducted BUSINESS KSHETRA for U.G. Students on 28th January 2012. Business Kshetra consists of five knowledge enhancing and ground-breaking competitions such as Stock Game, Best Manager, Paper Presentation, Ad Zap and Business Quiz.
