HORIZON 2011
The Department of IT & CS, Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai, conducted HORIZON 2011, an Inter-Collegiate Meet, on 28th January 2011, for the seventh consecutive year. Paper Presentation, IT Quiz, Cracking and Hacking, Web-Designing, Game Show, Group Song, Theme Show and Group Dance were held. Nearly 650 students from 42 colleges took part in the Meet. The Chief Guest Mr. Balaji, Asst. Prof., Dept. of CSE, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, spoke on “ Cloud Computingâ€. A Host performance [ Group Dance as well as Solo]was given by our II and III year students of IT & CS. The Overall Winners Shield was bagged by Holy Cross College, Trichy; students of Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi, emerged as the Runners.
