PG Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management course Inauguration
PG Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management course was inaugurated in RLIMS on 18.07.2012. The course is approved by Madurai Kamaraj University and is offered in the evening, three days a week. The inaugural address was given by Dr .S.Shanmugam Principal, Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science. He spoke about the importance of value added programme like Logistics & Supply Chain Management which will prove a cutting edge to students. The salient features of Logistics Industry were highlighted by Dr S.Sriram, Director-in-charge, RLIMS. The growth and importance of logistics in India was also deliberated. The programme Co-ordinator and Deputy Director Dr.S.Pugalanthi gave an introduction about the course , the subject coverage and the Faculty resources. Arranging Expert lectures through Video-conferencing from Chennai is a unique feature of RLIMS. Mr.M.Raja , admission training & placement Officer delivered the vote of thanks.
