TOTA Program enters the 9th day
The eighth batch TOTA program entered the ninth day today, 18.07.12. Dr.G.R.Balakrishnan, Advisor, SLF, coordinates the program as the Pilot Faculty. Day after day, the participants had the benefit of listening and interacting with different faculty members from the marine sector and other academic institutions.
Ms. Malar M.A., B.Ed., from the Dept. of English, Subbulakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Sciences, Madurai was the faculty for today’s morning session. The faculty is an experienced English Teacher and also a corporate trainer. She stressed on the need for a teacher to be an effective communicator. Not just preaching, she made the session interactive to bring out the
communicative abilities of the participants. She also provided tips to the participants to improve
their Communication Skills.
In the second session, Mr.Ranjit Kumar, Head, Dept. of CS&IT, SLCS, enlightened the participants on the recent technological developments.
